SeraSync is a pre-launch product focused on improving post-operative recovery experiences. This website and survey collect limited information to help us understand caregiver and patient needs. We take your privacy seriously. Here is what we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

01 Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you use our website or complete our survey, you may provide your role (patient, caregiver, or healthcare provider), survey responses and open-text answers, your email address if you choose to share it, and any other details you voluntarily submit.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we automatically receive standard technical data including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages viewed, referral source, and analytics events. We use this data to understand how people find and use the site, not to identify you personally.

02 How We Use Information

We do not use your information to serve advertisements, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

03 Sensitive and Health Information

Please do not submit sensitive personal details through open-text fields. This includes medical records, insurance IDs, Social Security numbers, or similar identifying information. Our survey is not designed to collect or secure that type of data.

Some survey questions touch on recovery experiences and may relate to health conditions in a general way. If health-related information is shared, we handle it according to this policy and our internal data practices.

SeraSync is a pre-commercial product in early research. We are not currently a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate in connection with this website and survey activity. We do not represent that this site or survey is HIPAA-compliant, and you should not submit protected health information through it.

04 Survey Responses and Research Use

Your survey responses help us understand real-world recovery experiences and shape how we design SeraSync. Here is how we may use that data:

A note on open-text fields: Please avoid including names, patient identifiers, or other unnecessary personal details in your free-form answers. Keep it about experiences, not individuals.

05 When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

06 Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors interact with the site. This includes analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar providers. These tools may collect information like pages visited, time on site, and referral source.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Opting out of analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site or complete the survey. For details on your analytics provider's data practices, please review their privacy documentation directly.

07 Retention

We retain contact information and survey responses only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. If you request deletion of your information, we will remove it promptly from our active systems, subject to legal obligations that may require retention of certain records.
